Auctioning in its simplest terms is a “method of marketing”. Dating back centuries, the auction method was preferred method prior to the great depression for marketing real estate. By the 1980’s, auctioning began to experience a significant growth due its fast-paced sale and ability to liquefy a once stagnant investment.
Today and in the future, time is a limited and highly valuable resource. Buyers do not have the time to “shop” and sellers want to sell “now,” making the auctioning method ideal. Time is money and market conditions change rapidly. Real estate auctioning is booming and continues to rise as savvy buyers and sellers see the benefits of auction marketing.
